In addition to observing the Arch and walking around the park, there is a museum located at the base of the arch. The museum offers rides to the top as well.

Top Notch Axe Throwing St. Louis
Our first date was at an axe throwing place in Mascoutah (Ryan is a very brave man.). Although that establishment has shut down, here is another local place you can go to.

Ritzy cellar haunt in a historic building with a Prohibition-era theme & a required password entry.
City Museum
Housed in the 600,000 sq. ft. former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of children’s playground, fun house, surrealistic pavilion and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects. City Museum boasts features such as old chimneys, salvaged bridges, construction cranes, miles of tile and even two abandoned planes!
