We met at a birthday party downtown Chicago with our mutual friends. We ended up talking and really hit it off! We walked to 7/11 together that night to get some snacks and the rest is history... We've both discussed how when we first saw each other we knew it would be something special. Oh how right we were! Fun fact... Our pup Gino's birthday is actually January 25th! That day is just the best.

In the summer of 2022, Sal took me to Sicily and I fell in love! He showed me all his favorite places and there couldn't be a more beautiful place. Leading up to going back in August of 2023, Sal had been hinting at a proposal but also throwing me off of his actual plan. We headed out to happy hour where we celebrated our anniversary the summer prior. As I was taking a picture of the beautiful sunset on the Lungomare, Sal was planning his question. We took a picture with the most perfect background, and the next moment he was on one knee asking me to marry him. We are so excited on forever and more perfect moments here, there and everywhere!
