Question
If I cannot attend in person, can I attend on zoom?
Answer
Yes! We will send out a zoom invite on the week of the wedding. We also hope to have a ceremony in the United States someday and hope to see many of you there!
Question
I've never been to Sweden. What will the weather be like?
Answer
The venue has indoor spaces for the reception, so you don't have to worry about the cold, but historically the weather in Sweden in August is very similar to the United States! Pack the same as you would for an August in Chicago.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We are asking guests to dress in garden attire or cocktail attire. While the ceremony and reception are indoors, we chose this venue for the outstanding outdoor space so wear comfortable shoes. Our wedding colors are forest green, lavender, and silver if you feel like dressing on theme, although it is certainly not necessary.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
The venue is accessible by highway and by bus. It is approximately a 40-minute drive from Gothenburg. However, we are happy to help our guests get transportation to and from the venue. We will likely be hiring a car on that day for our guests to get to and from the city and will update the website as we finalize details!

What Hotel Should I Stay At?
Answer
Due to the small number of Americans, we have opted not to save a hotel block for our guests. We recommend finding a hotel, hostel, or airbnb near "Göteborg Åkareplatsen" the Gothenburg train station as that is near the center of the city and has lots of buses to other places to visit. If you need help finding or affording accommodation, please reach out!
