Maid of Honor
I have known my Maid of Honor Whitney since our days at Murchison MS. We were Anderson HS Trojan Belles together, roommates and fellow Austinites ever since (minus my years in NC). She is by far the funniest person I know and hates hugs but I give them to her anyway. She makes all things at ACL Live run smoothly on-top of being the best dressed and wittiest. I can't imagine anyone else being right next to me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Leeza and I have traveled the world together including Thailand, London, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Colorado, Miami, Key west, San Francisco, Peru, Santé Fe, Quanah, and Fredericksburg (where she currently lives) just to name a few. We obviously share our love for travel and adventure and can't wait to explore the world more with her. She is beautiful in and out and truly a great friend.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and I both attended UT summer school and have been close ever since. We have been to numerous UT football games together, were roommates in arguably the best and worst house in west campus and spent many hours drinking delicious beer at the brewery her and her husband opened (Barking Armadillo, you should go check it out). Amanda is always in a good mood, crazy intelligent and one of my favorite people to be around. Her daughter Lila is also the cutest.
Bridesmaid
April and I have known each other since high school where we listened to Dashboard Confessional and talked about Lord of the Rings (we were cool I promise). She has also been a roommate of mine and shares my love of UT football. April is an amazing mom to 2 adorable kids and the most loyal caring friend. She has a beautiful soul and gives great advice and I can't image life without her as a friend.
Bridesmaid
I truly feel like Amanda is a sister from another mister. We became fast friends at UNC where we were both completing graduate degrees in environmental science. We bonded over being Jewish and our love for live music and we made the absolute most of what Carrboro, NC had to offer. She is now an amazing mom in Ft Collins with a badass job mitigating climate change. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know and is a great listener. This woman is going places in life and I love to watch her every step of the way. Love ya girl!
Bridesmaid
Maryam and I met through friends at Barton Springs Saloon and she will now and forever be my favorite bartender. We constantly bond over our love of food, cooking, kayaking, hiking, and being dog moms. She is fierce and loyal and I love her optimism. She brightens every room she walks into and I love that I get to call her one of my best friends.
Best Woman
My favorite sister - the smartest one in the family and most dependable woman I know. Ellen has had to put up with a lot over the years having three older brothers, but the woman is tough as nails now. She was the only one who followed our dad's advice to become a nurse, and after a couple years working Trauma 1 is now the head trainer for one of the fastest growing health and wellness companies in the US. It's awesome to know her as an adult, hanging out at venues in south Austin or on Lake Travis. We share a very similar sense of humor and mindset and I feel like we can talk about anything. Ellen has a handsome little dog named Brinkley who she loves more than anything in the world, and just became a homeowner around the corner from Rebe and me down in far South Austin.
Groomsman
Rockstar turned family man, Bob's talent for the guitar and all things musical is only exceeded by his passion for being a fantastic dad and husband. We shared just about everything growing up, being that he and Jim are less than a year younger than me: spills on homemade bike ramps, a simmering sibling rivalry, paintball, cringe/laughing at dad's jokes, swimming on mom's team and working for her at the pool, then chilling out playing music and getting into trouble - I wouldn't trade that for anything and hope that our kids get to experience a good approximation of it. Bob lives with his wife, Heather, and their two girls Penelope (4) and Hadley (2) in Dripping Springs.

Jim works hard, plays hard and is hard not to love - you'll hear his laugh from across the party and gravitate to whatever story he's telling. In a family full of extroverts Jim still stands out as the most social & best friend to everyone he meets. A visit to his college apartment where he lived with Bob, or the house he shared with his (now wife) Diane on West Campus would inevitably be a party. Mom always said Jim was the sweetest of the siblings and I agree. He's a family man now, father of Fritz (3) and husband to Diane. Being that his heart is the biggest of the four of us it's no surprise that his family is too - He and Diane welcomed Chris and his daughter Kira (5) into their family this past year. They all live in North Beach, MD.

The man, the myth, the ever loving legend - Evan and I have been friends since the first week, maybe the first day of our time at UTSA freshman year. He's from south Austin and also the oldest of 3 bothers, he would regularly beat me (and everyone else) at Mario Kart so we'd have to go settle the score on the disc golf course. After I moved to Texas State and he followed a year later we picked right back up where we'd left off, with countless nights out, nights in, longboard rides down the parking garage and tubing trips down the river. Evan is the most selfless and generous person you can imagine, I was honored to be a part of his wedding to his wonderful wife Kristen and overjoyed that he's a part of mine. They own a home in south Austin not far from us as well.

Micah is a long time friend from Dripping Springs, who I really came to know and love after he'd moved back to the area as an adult after a 10 year absence. Ever the one to reach out and say "the day is gorgeous let's do something!" we've made up for lost time spending untold numbers of days at the river, on the disc golf course, the gun range, at bars and breweries et c. Our sense of humor jives well, as evidenced by the Pound Town campaign a couple years back on which he was the co-conspirator. Micah and his gorgeous wife Brittany just welcomed their first child, a bright-eyed girl named Emery, in October 2021. They live a short hop south of us in Buda.

Aldous Huxley wrote that "Blood, as all men know, than water's thicker / But water's wider, thank the Lord, than blood." Adam moved in around the corner from the McCarthy household in middle school, and immediately was like the 4th and funniest brother. Skating, dirtbiking, & playing music were daily pursuits. We kept in touch when he moved back to California in high school, then got to reconnect as adults when his career brought him back to central Texas for a couple years. It was like he was never gone, and we got pretty wild together. After he was called back to California he met his wife Katie, and if I believed in angels I'd say she was sent just for him. They're blessed with two adorable girls Eden (2) and Sage (1) and live near Santa Cruz.
