Cody’s family rented a cabin from Rebecca’s grandparents for a summer getaway. The two of them spent summers together adventuring, catching snakes, fishing in the creeks, and swimming for hours on end. As life went on, we grew up and apart but always kept in touch and cheered each other on from a distance or having a dinner here or there. We rekindled the beginning of 2023 and the connection that we had twenty years prior was ignited again immediately.

We both share a love for fishing so when Cody suggested creek fishing in Story we were both all in! We hiked up with Ava and both dogs for a Jimmy Johns picnic. When we started getting things together to go fish, Cody asked “Will you marry me Becca Babe?” (which is the nickname he gave me from day one, how cute?!) which was an immediate yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
