What's the dress code?

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are having the ceremony on the roof outdoors. We will be providing guests with water and paper fans due to the projected temperatures, and mechanical fans will be on the roof to circulate air. Don't worry - if it rains, we'll have a tent! The reception will be indoors with the option to get fresh air out on the roof or in the courtyard throughout the evening.

Is there an elevator to get up to the roof?

Answer

There is no elevator to get to the roof, so guests will need to climb a couple of flights of stairs for the ceremony. If you are unable to do so, you are welcome to skip the ceremony and join at the reception, which will be held on the ground floor with no stairs required.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation. However, our hotel block and several other hotels are a quick walk (under 10 minutes) away from the venue. If you choose to stay outside of the Williamsburg area, your best bet is Uber or the subway. In the case of the latter, the closest subway stop is Nassau Ave on the G Line, which is a four minute walk to the venue.

Kids are invited! It's up to you if you want to make this a parents' night out or bring the whole family.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Dobbin Street does not have its own parking. You can try your luck at street parking or nearby lots/garages, but we strongly suggest you either walk, cab/Uber, or take the subway.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

As of June 17th, the weather is forecasted to range from 85-90 degrees. Please dress comfortably with this in mind!

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be eating family style. You will not need to choose your own dish, and we will have both meat and vegetarian/vegan options. There will be gluten-free options as well. Kids' meals will also be included at tables where children are seated. If you have any dietary restrictions, please include them when you RSVP.
