We're getting married!

We met through work at a local Buffalo hockey store, Great Skate. As co-workers, we soon found out we shared a love for lakes, boating, the outdoors, the Bills, the Sabres, and all music "Jackson Rohm". Brian insists that Rebecca moved to the Elmwood area to be closer to him. Yet, not too longer after, Brian moved around the block from Rebecca. From Co-workers to friends, we started to hang out at the local Elmwood bars and soon fell in love with not only each other, but the family and friends that made us who we are today.

On March 4, 2018 on a sunny winter day, we went to our favorite hiking spot in Eighteen Mile Creek, right near our home in Hamburg, NY. After dating for 6 years Rebecca had recently joked that prior to them getting Apple Watches, Brian should save for something else (hint hint). After snowshoeing for over three miles Brian turned to Rebecca and stated, "so you know how you said I should save for something else before getting the Apple Watch? Well, I already did!" With that Brian got down on one knee (with snowshoes on) and asked Rebecca to marry him. Because of their love for boating and lakes, Rebecca was so surprised that Brian would propose in any time other than summer. She of course said, "yes" and we were engaged.
