Friends since high school, travel buddies, and essentially family. Natalie the soccer maven she is, played a large part in getting Adam and I to meet that crucial CSUC soccer season in 2010. Always down for a good time and to lend a helping hand, I'm very, very lucky to call her my friend.

Social work and the Vagina Monologues created a deep friendship between Jacke and I. I'd do anything for her, my ultimate dance partner. Once my 'wife' and integral in the summer of Maia & Adam, it wouldn't be our union without Jacke.

Without Adam I would never have met Rachelle, and I am so grateful to have met her. Always one to meet you with joy and enthusiasm, Rachelle is perpetually showing me how fun life can be. I know your love language Rachelle, so you're one of my favorite people to give a gift to. Prost!

It's easy to say "I love you" to this woman. Maria gives the best hugs and back rubs and she will always leave you a great voicemail. She's a fantastic hiking buddy (thank you for sharing the weight of that rock for me to gift to Adam) and concert partner. I constantly relieved that you are always offering to drive.

Sib is my adventure partner, she makes even the simplest hang outs that much more fun. Whether she's at my house or I'm at hers, we imbibe many libations and ultimately end up at a psychic, a water aerobics class, the nail salon, New York City, or a spa in Mexico (thanks to Ann Raish for hosting us). She may be the only girlfriend of mine that Adam will run an errand for. We're both so excited that she's on our wedding team.

My Big Brother! Ryan's been my role model since the day I was born, and I got lucky that I was following the lead of someone who was adventurous, didn't take life too seriously and cared immensely for those around him. From athletics, to the arts, and general life and family values, Ryan influenced my life in a positive way more than I've ever given him credit. For these things, and what the future holds, I'm grateful to have always had him on my side.

My Lil Bro! Erin's genuine and energetic personality, paired with his loyalty to those around him, enables him to have and share a great perspective on life. One of his greatest traits is his devotion to family, both the family he grew up with and the beautiful family he's made for himself. In addition to this, Erin is always down to have a good time, will join in on any fun on a whim, and keep going until he's the last man standing. It's these traits that make Erin a one of a kind person, and one that I'm proud to have by my side.

I met Rob about 10 years ago, when, for whatever reason he said 'sure' to some 18 year old freshman he'd never met before moving in with him. Rob's a guy who can turn trash into treasure, dreams bigger and better than most, and is admirably optimistic. It's these characteristics juxtaposed with my more reserved ways that have enabled us to thrive as friends and teammates in the endeavors we've taken on. In addition to this, Rob and the Busick's have become 'Chico Family' for Maia and I over the years.

Nic and my relationship initially centered around Chico State Soccer, from meeting on my recruiting trip, to 3 years as teammates and roommates, to 10 years of friendship that continues to bring a great deal of joy in my life. Nic always has a great perspective on life and each and every event within it. He's also the most inclusive person I know, making sure that when there's a good time to be had then everyone is welcome.

Kevin and I experienced 3 seasons of collegiate soccer, and 3 years as roommates where we, in solidarity, were able to maintain acceptable living conditions in an 8 bedroom house. Kevin isn't just standing beside me purely for our friendship, but he's the glue that keeps our friend group as strong as it is. With his wife Rachelle as Maia's bridesmaid, we've got years of fun ahead of us.

Mike's my goalie. That statement could probably be enough to explain our relationship for other soccer folks, but for clarity, Mike's a guy that I know I can always depend on. This irishman is the most passionate guy I know and a hell of a dancer (when his back isn't hurt). We were co-captains at Chico State, eventual roommates in San Francisco, and now he continues to be a friend I can confide in, gives it to me straight and is always great to have around.

This little one is magic! MIla is the sweetest, most loving and tenacious little girl that will likely put on show like no flower girl has before. Niece of Adam and daughter of Best Man Erin and his wife Emily, Mila will likely be spending her time in Sayulita on the beach racking up a tab with the all the street vendors.

Brody's handsome looks and bright blue eyes are bringing the Raish boy's one step closer to having a male model in the family. Nephew of Adam, and son of Best Man Ryan and his wife Stephanie, Brody will be just over 2 years old at the time of the wedding and likely riding the waves of Sayulita.
