We would appreciate if you RSVP as early as possible. However, we will need to know by April 12, 2024 if you are able to attend or not.
The ceremony will be taking place indoors in a historic chapel at Scarritt Bennett. The reception is a short walk away from the chapel in a historic dining hall. Food and seating will be indoors in the dining hall, but the entire campus is available for photos during our wedding time.
The Scarritt Bennett Center has two free parking lots that can fit approximately 100 cars total. They are designated as Parking Lot A and B. While there will hopefully be enough spaces for everyone, there is some metered parking available on a different side of the campus, which can also be used for dropping off people.
We will have two entree options: chicken with spinach or baked penne primavera with a red pepper marinara sauce. There will be equal amounts of both with sides of scalloped potatoes, green beans, and yellow rice pilaf. The drink options will be water, sweet tea, and punch. If you have any food allergies, please let us know as soon as you are able, so we can notify the venue if we need to make any adjustments. You can email us at rebecca.raynor121@gmail.com NOTE: NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED OR SERVED AT THE VENUE. (We do not want to get fined! ☺️ Thank you for understanding!)
The dress code is Cocktail or Semi-Formal. This is usually a middle ground between formal and casual. We want you to be comfortable while also respecting the historic nature of the chapel. You do not have to wear these exact items, but some examples include a cocktail dress, tea-length dress, or nice pantsuit for women. For the men, you can wear a suit with a tie or bow tie, or go without. Keep in mind the wedding will be in May, so it will be warmer weather.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you may mail it to 1939 Ivy Glen Dr, Murfreesboro, TN 37128 We will have a wedding card box and gift table also available at the reception.
During the ceremony, we will have a time at the beginning for you to take photos, but we ask that the remainder of the ceremony be “unplugged” so that we can enjoy our time together. During the reception, we would love for you to take as many photos and videos as you like!
We would love to talk to you! If you have the bride or groom’s phone number, please feel free to text or call us. If not, it will probably be easiest to email us at rebecca.raynor121@gmail.com and then we can arrange exchanging phone numbers!
