We met "accidentally" on an online dating site. I had recently made a new Facebook account and mistakenly thought it was asking for my details regarding that, but instead, it was actually having me sign up for their new launch called Facebook dating. I couldn't figure out how to delete it so I simply just ignored it and went on with my life... until I got a message from a certain young man named Kyle asking me what my favorite genre of literature was, and now, here we are! Ready to set off on our next adventure.

On the anniversary of our very first date in a small local coffee shop, Kyle took me out for a nice dinner. He had been frustrated all day by the weather showing signs of a storm, which I was confused by, given that he had never really felt like that about the weather before. We ended up driving to "our spot", as we called it, which was about 30 minutes outside of town surrounded by windmills and little light pollution; which is why we had gone to watch the stars from out there several times before. Kyle showed me a playlist he had made for us, which I thought was cute, and that he had made it as an anniversary gift to me. We started dancing to the music as the sun began to set over the city far out in front of us, and then, Kyle said he had a question, which I silly responded with "No, we can't get rid of Howl" (our very fat black cat, haha). He smiled, and I thought he had found my words funny, but then he stepped back and got on one knee in front of me. He pulled out the ring box that my parents had given to him WEEKS prior and asked me to marry him as the song "Somebody To Love" by Austin Giorgio played in the background through the car speakers.
