After running into each other twice in the span of a week, these former friends decided to have some late night pizza. They had seen each other at Blue Canoe (a local blues bar) and after Ray's "Nice to see you text", Danielle said she was coming over for late night food. Realizing she wasn't joking, Ray scrambled out of bed and made one of his roommate's frozen pizzas- sorry Steve! The two spent an hour or two eating pizza and having some pretty deep conversations. Over time, their love grew and relationship strengthened and on May 15, 2018, they turned that love into a promise with their engagement. Ray loves woodworking and built Danielle a special keepsake box. In the box, he put an impressive amount of items from their relationship over the last year. There was a faux bottom to the box, and when Danielle lifted it, there was the ring. They are incredibly excited to start their new life adventure together and can't wait to celebrate with all of their friends and family!
