We had to close the RSVP page but please either text Sarah or Raquel or email lopezmalhotra@gmail.com with your RSVP. Please submit your RSVPs by October 11th. Thanks so much! We hope to see you there!
Invitations were mailed out at the end of September and should have been received by now. We have heard from a few people that they have not received their invite in the mail. Please contact Sarah or Raquel directly if you have any questions or concerns.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. Just please let us know the name of your guest ahead of time. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Semi-Formal and Brighter is better. Don't be afraid to wear a bold color—that will help you fit in with the Indian guests who'll be dressed in vibrant colors. If you don't have a traditional sari or lengha, don't worry—a jewel-tone dress with a shawl is appropriate too. Want to wear traditional Indian clothes but don't know where to start: if you’re local, Regards Wholesale in Spotswood,NJ is awesome (and where we bought our outfits) and Sarah's sister Jessica recommends www.indianweddingsaree.com but the most important thing to us is that you are comfortable and ready to have a good time.
Bright colors are highly encouraged at Indian weddings and only a few colors should be avoided when choosing your wedding attire. It would be best not to wear bright red, which is traditionally reserved for the bride or white, which is considered a color of mourning.
Due to limited numbers, it is children of immediate family only. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off!
We really appreciate that you are asking, if you would like to give us a gift, we have registered for items we would love to have in our home right here on Zola. You can find this by going to the "Registry" tab at the top. Please keep in mind that we are already living together and have most household items.
Thanks so much! My very talented photographer friend Theresa took our Engagement Photos! She's based in Los Angeles but comes to CT often (but not often enough in Raquel's opinion). Check out her website for more info: https://www.clarkandmainphotography.com
