We have booked a school bus to bring you to and from Kurtz Beach. You do not need to be staying at a hotel to ride the bus, we just ask that you tell us whether you'll be riding or not on your invitation. See our Shuttle and hotel page for details!
Kurtz Beach has TONS of free parking! The lot is grass, so if you have a handicapped guest with you, please drop them off before parking.
If you are not taking the shuttle bus, please arrive to the venue between 5:15 and 5:30 for the 6:00 ceremony.
Our dress code is Semi-Formal. This means cocktail dresses, suit and ties. Our ceremony will be outside on the bay, so bring a shawl.. it'll be late March, and the Bay always has a breeze. But don't worry, the rest of the party will be inside. For ladies who want to wear heels-- go for it! There are tons of paved walkways.. just make sure you bring a back up pair for dancing!
Absolutely! Kurtz is extremely accomodating which is why we loved this venue. Please let us know what your dietary restrictions are on your invitation, and we will send the message to them.
We have invited some children to the wedding ---nieces and nephews, and family members who are from out of state. Unless your child has their name on the invitation, they are not invited. With that being said, this wedding is in the evening, adults will be drinking and jamming out to inappropriate music! If you're bringing a child and don't want them to be around this, there is a HUGE playground on the property that kids are allowed to use so long as they are supervised by their parents! We also know some pretty awesome babysitters who are trained by the Red Cross, I can put you in touch with them!
