What a small world we live in you ask? Well, funny enough that our first meet was because our best friends who happen to be cousins back in India realized their best friends are studying at the same university and that's when the "Hey, are you Varun?" attempt to connect the dots was initiated in front of the cloud gate at millennium park in Chicago that later went on through a wonderful journey to which you are here to celebrate with us.
The Law of Magnetism states that Opposite poles attract. I believe in our case, it was her quirkiness and my routine self that brought us together and thus began the friendship saga. In all frankness, I think it was her cooking but, let's go with this now!!!
We went through thick & thin during our graduation times be it the difficulties of typical semester project deadlines or the headache of job search. I don't believe either of us would have enjoyed our experience in the States if we hadn't found each other. Our routines of having vanilla or a chocolate frosted donut coupled with our favorite frozen yogurt from cocomero at the University Main Quad was definitely our favorite thing to do!! Those good old times!! It was a trip to New York that brought us closer together and made us realize that we might be more than friends and this relationship can turn into something more beautiful in the long term. Me being the visionary who dreamt of this took a step back thinking expressing my feelings might compromise our friendship but she being the quirky dare devil expressed her feelings and the rest is history!!
Strangers to friends to best friends to dating to spending life together close to the pacific ocean riding the life roller coaster staying literally at the edge of the world here we are deciding to tie the knot to commemorate a beautiful relationship. There is something of a strange feeling of confidence in going into the unknown with your best friend because no matter what, you know you both will be there for each other.
