I was at a high school reunion meeting the first time Randy saw me. I don’t remember him from that day, but I obviously left an impression. Lol We didn’t see each other for another two years when we met again in 2005 at work.
It took eleven years from our first encounter to finally go on a date! There were lot of ups and downs during those years that kept up from connecting, but it was definitely worth the wait!
We were at Bible Study on a Wednesday night. I was actually in a bad mood that day. I noticed that Randy left the sanctuary, but I figured that he was helping someone. I was curious, but I didn’t give it much thought. He eventually returned, and with the help of our pastors, I was called up front. I was confused and nervous. He began with a beautiful speech about our relationship, and the next thing I see is Randy on his knee! It was a beautiful moment I will never forget!
