We're getting married!

I was invited to go to a cookout with some friends. I really didn't want to go but something told me to do my hair, find a cute outfit and go! So I did. When I get there I say hello to some friends and find a spot on the lawn. A few minutes later a bunch of guys come over. Most I already knew a few I had never met. Next thing I know a guy with a baseball cap wearing a jersey (don't get me started on the jersey's) comes and sits across from me. He compliments me on my leopard sandals and proceeds to chat. Soon after he says that he has another engagement he was planning on attending that day. We exchange numbers and he leaves. No more than an hour goes by and I decide to put myself out there and text him. He says he was at his friends and I should stop by. I leave and meet up with him. We end up at Waffle House a few hours later technically making it our first date. We say goodnight go our separate ways and the rest is history!
