We're getting married!

It was an ordinary night out in NYC when we met for the first time through mutual friends. Our first meeting was followed by several others just like it, fun nights out with a group of friends (and of course the end of the night pizza run!). Somewhere along the way, we realized we wanted to get to know each other a little better. So Rajiv asked me out, to something he knows I can never say no to, brunch! First dates can be nerve-racking, but with Rajiv it was like I had known him my entire life. Our first date ended up lasting more than 12 hours, and I remember thinking, “Wow, I can’t believe I just spent the entire day with him”. Little did I know, that it would soon turn into a lifetime.

For those of you who know him, you know that above all, he's kind hearted and genuine. The adjective he'd really like me to use is "funny", but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who ever laughs at his jokes! The 3 years we've been together have been by far the best in my entire life. Our first summer together was filled with adventures. The inner romantic in Rajiv had a never-ending list of date ideas for us! Renting boats and having picnics in Central Park, visiting the Brooklyn bridge and botanical gardens, walking the High Line, and riding roller coasters at Coney Island, just to name a few. Most impressive of all was all the delicious homemade meals he made me! Those first few months were pretty magical, but every day since has been nothing short of extraordinary. Rajiv is always full of surprises, and he goes the extra mile to make me smile. With him by my side I didn't think I could possibly be any happier, until the day came when he asked me to be his forever!

Now that we've entered the next step of our relationship, we are looking forward to what's to come over the next year. The wedding planning process will inevitably come with it's share of challenges, but we couldn't be more excited to celebrate with all of the people we love! There's no better feeling than knowing I'll spend the rest of my life with my best friend. We can’t wait to spend the coming years building a home together, traveling the world, and creating unforgettable memories with our family and friends. No measure of time together will ever be enough, but lets start with forever!
