The tagline says it all...The couple first first met in Vegas! Guess what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas ;) It all started when Emily and her friends were invited to join a big group trip with the "Florida" crew in Vegas in August summer 2016. Safe to say the trip was epic but it wasn't as clear at first what the couple thought of one another. It wasn't until both of them were back in San Francisco at a mutual friends luau when they finally had a chance to get to know each other a little better. Aaron was persistent and insisted on taking Emily out for dinner that same night. They went for sushi in the Marina and the rest is history. They weren't dating long before Emily took Aaron home to Santa Cruz for Thanksgiving to meet her family. Shortly after Aaron did the same and Emily flew to Orlando to spend Christmas with Aaron's family. In world where there is so much uncertainty the couple seemed to have no doubts in taking big steps together. Emily and Aaron's mutual love for travel sparked the beginning of many amazing trips. From spontaneous weekends in Mexico, to celebrating Aaron's success at Gartner in Shanghai and Maui, to romantic adventures in Bali, countless festivals across the world and one of many amazing family vacations in Italy. Their love for travel continues to strengthen their bond. In the beginning their relationship was tested and life certainly had it's challenges. One thing that remained the same was their relentless commitment to one another's happiness. After three and half years of dating Aaron proposed to Emily on the beach in Fort Lauderdale last October. He surprised her by inviting his whole family to join the celebration. Since the engagement, juggling life's ongoing obstacles along with planning an international wedding has proven to be challenging...but with the love and support from their family and friends they're more excited then ever to celebrate with their loved ones in Italy next fall!
