I have loved you with an everlasting love - Jeremiah 31:3 If you had asked either of us in 2019 we'd be getting married to each other this year, we both would have laughed. Little did we know at that time, that a decade of prayers were about to be answered and a miracle was in the making. We are romantics to the core. Each of us had been praying for our future spouse throughout the years, clinging to the belief that God had created a special someone just for us. The one who would be our greatest champion, best friend, passionate lover and raving fan. Our soul mate. The waiting wasn’t easy. It was far from perfect and oftentimes quite messy, yet faithfully, we waited. It was exactly one year of friendship to the day that God finally opened our eyes and awoke our hearts to each other. The love and joy we have found is more beautiful than we had imagined. It is truly a match made in Heaven! Isaiah 60:22 says that when the time is right, He will make it happen. Seeing this promise fulfilled with the blossoming of our love has increased our Faith in His timing, and His ways. They are truly higher and better than we could ever ask or imagine.

Speaking through Isaiah and Jeremiah 31, He has called us to Zion to begin this next chapter of life: 'They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord' 'You will never again be called the Abandoned One, But you will be called My Delight Is in You, Because God delights in you and Your land will be like a wedding celebration. As the bridegroom finds joy in his union with his bride, so will your God take joy in his union with you! I’ve posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. Day and night they keep at it, praying, calling out, reminding God to remember.'
