Maid of Honor
Rachel and I met in middle school, but it feels like we've been life long friends. We've shared countless laughs and she's been one of my closest friends through trials and joy. I'm so excited to be celebrating her big day with her!
Best Man
It’s true. I am known as Andy’s bestie. I don’t think there’s anyone else (other than Rachel) I talk to as consistently as him. I think we’ve come to know each other so much, that if one of us were to have an untimely death, the other could serve as a conversation bot since we both tell the same jokes and can guess what the other is thinking in most any situation. Many memories come with our friendship; making random TikToks only for us to laugh/cringe at, eating so much our vision somehow turns blurry. I might be known as Andy’s bestie, but Andy is my Proverbs 18:24.

I met Rachel in 2013 during our first year of undergrad at UCSD and she really stood out to me because she wore the brightest sweaters I’ve ever seen anyone wear. As a freshman, Rachel carried herself with such grace and maturity that was beyond her years. But she also had such a sweet and goofy side to her that I really appreciated. It’s been 10 years of friendship that I’m so thankful for. From playing intramurals to now running a 10k together, eating good food, appreciation of good massages (massage trains yay!), and deep conversations laying on my apartment floor/ FaceTime, I am still blessed to this day by her kind, thoughtful heart. I’m so excited and honored to celebrate her and Cory on their special day as they start their journey together as husband and wife!❤️

I’ve actually known Christian for a surprisingly long time. Before he came to UCSD, I had known him at our home church in LA. I remember all the other leaders fighting over him to have in their small group. Comparing our old chats to current ones is like night and day. Before we would just talk about our favorite moody, Christian songs, and now it’s just devolved into anime memes and analysis over overrated shows. But from time to time we have deeper conversations, he never fails to tell it straight up, something I value in our friendship.

Rachel and I met during my first year at UCSD at an AACF event and we clicked instantly! Through discipleship in college, numerous video calls, and our many food adventures and boba dates, Rachel has always been there for me and played a huge part in my spiritual growth. We also not-so-secretly plan on dining at Alinea (Michelin three-star restaurant in Chicago) sometime soon!
Groomsman
Throughout my friendship with Alec, he’s been trying to get me to become a morning person. From coffee to hikes to volunteer events, Alec has yet to convince me waking up before 8am is a sane move. I met Alec when I attended his community group for Redeemer Presbyterian, and from the outset I knew his intentionality and hospitality made him a man after God’s own heart. He’s been a friend and role-model ever since, and I know I can count on him.

My name is Isabella, or Izzy for short. I'm Rachel's sister-in-law. We've bonded over running the 606, biking the lakefront trail, going on mini road trips, shopping and checking out various food places and a speakeasy.

Chris has always been a good mentor to his younger brothers. Having our childhood rooms right next to each other, I remember staying up late talking. People often mistake us for each other, especially based on our faces and voice, other similarities are probably from the way I’ve grown up observing the successes and mistakes he’s had and doing my best to learn from them. Even now I know I can rely on him for advice as life gets more and more complicated.

I met Rachel in our first year of medical school and we became fast friends and activity and study buddies. As we’ve gone through the years our friendship has deepened and now nearing the end of our medical school journey, Rachel is one of my closest and dearest friends. We still play soccer and have run a 10k together!

There’s a reason why Curtis is called “the nicest” of us three brothers. He’s so nice that he lets me tease him by poking his stomach like the Pillsbury doughboy. If you notice when I address him I will always call him “Sudu”, it’s something I’ve picked up from not being able to say “second oldest brother” in Chinese. I know that whenever I go and visit, I can count on being greeted by a story of the kids he teaches, either that or how One Piece is the greatest work of fiction.

Machel and I met at Mountainview Grace Church in Canada when we were around five years old. Every weekend was spent choreographing dances to Hilary Duff and playing with our Bratz dolls. I'm so grateful to experience the overflowing love Rach pours out to everyone around her and cannot wait to celebrate this marriage! This is what dreeeeeams are made of!!

I met Rachel when I was just a freshman in college at UCSD, so it's almost been a decade of friendship. We have gone through one of the hardest times of our lives together and I am so glad she was there with me every step of the way. She's the sister I never asked for, but cannot live without. I am so happy to stand up there with her on her big big day!!
