Senthil proposed to Rachel in Montauk, New York over Memorial Day Weekend. He had a grand plan for a beautiful proposal out on the beach which ended up being upstaged by the weekend long downpour and coldest temperatures historically recorded for Memorial Day Weekend in Montauk. Luckily, Senthil was quick on his feet and created a "Wine Tasting" diversion to get Rachel into a romantically set room with pictures of their adventures, Michael Bublé playing in the background, and champagne for two. After getting down on one knee the couple was able to go out onto the completely empty Montauk beach for a private photo shoot in the rain. It was truly a magical moment that all came together in the end.
