Wedding Party

We are so thankful to have these wonderful men and women to stand beside us on our big day!

Emily Burroughs

Maid of Honor

Emily and I met in a psychology class almost 6 years ago at Northeast State Community College. We bonded quickly and once we had decided that we were friends there was no turning back. We have spent numerous weekends at the beach soaking up the sun, one very early morning driving to SC to reflect on the meaning of Good Friday and all that it means for us. We have spent FAR TOO MUCH TIME (and money) in Old Navy, and an endless amount of time simply enjoying each other’s friendship. Thanks to the busy manner of adulting, Emily and I (far too often) go long periods of time without actually seeing each other but there has never been a time that I didn’t know I could pick up the phone and call her if I needed her! She has truly been one of the biggest blessings over the last 5 years and I am so grateful to have her in my life! She is my beach buddy, my shopping buddy, and one of the truest friends I have ever had and I am truly HONORED that she is my Maid of Honor

Andee Cochran

Matron of Honor

Andee Cochran, is the sister that I truly never expected to have. Our parents are the best of friends, and I actually spent most of my preschool years being best friends with her younger brother. Thanks to a little age difference she was often off doing her older cool kid thing when we hung out as families, and we were never that close. That however, did not stop us from being the God-given friends that we were destined to be. In so many ways we owe that James Taylor and Texas Roadhouse because those two big factors really brought us together in the long run. I know without a shadow of a doubt that Andee always has my back, will always be around for me, and loves me like I am her sister by blood and I can’t thank God or James Taylor enough for that! I couldn’t imagine getting married without her by my side! (Her and Luke also tend to bicker like brother and sister so it’s pretty fitting)

Miranda Dugger

Bridesmaid

Miranda and I were not made to be biological sisters because the good Lord knew that we would be wayyyy too much trouble if we were! If you were to look up fast friends in the dictionary, there would be a picture of Miranda and I right there, rocking a good suit, and looking very mischievous. Working with Miranda and getting to be her friend, have had the pleasure of watching her be exactly they type of woman I want to be when I grow up. She is strong, independent, kind, Godly, and so much more. In so many ways it feels like we have known each other for a lifetime rather then two short years and I know that its because she was meant to be a part of my life. While I was very tempted to give her a fanny pack and make her our flower girl, knowing she would rock that roll, she’s simply too important to not be standing beside me!

Adam Hefner

Groomsman

I’ve known this guy since birth. As the little brother, I always enjoyed following him around and learning what to do and what not to do from him. He has picked me up from the side of the road when my truck was broken down at 1am and he has snuck me into college football games. I learned a large amount of knowledge from him, and I still try and impress him when I get the chance.

Ryan Falk

Best Man

I’ve also known this guy since birth. Some of my fondest memories were when Ryan would come to town and each of the siblings would have a designated “Ryan day”. As the poem I wrote in 5th grade stated, he truly is my hero. He inspires me to be the best person I can be, even if it’s better than him. No matter what, I know he’s got my back.

Tyler Harrington

Groomsman

Tyler and I are the yin and yang of co-workers, the good cop and bad cop, office buddies turned real life buddies. Tyler is a role model to me and great representation of my life goals. We may not always work together but I am confident our friendship will extend pass the wall of Ashville Recovery Center, and continue for years and years!

Emma Jane Clevenger

Flower Girl

Emma Jane is hands down, the cutest member of my side of the family! While we have only had the pleasure of her tiny feet walking this earth for just over two years now, she has brought the most amazing joy to our lives. The day that Luke met Emma, was one of the biggest moments when I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. Its hard not fall in love with a man who is soooo amazing with kids! Emma Jane is pure JOY walking into a room and a can’t wait for her to bring that to all of our guests on our special day. I couldn’t be more thankful for her parents Mikey and Katie for allowing her to be a part of our day and one of the brightest spots in our life!

For all the days along the way
