Ah, summer 2018. It began with two twenty-somethings wandering the scorching streets of New York City. Rachel was completing a rotation in surgery towards her Physician's Assistant degree, and Jake was interning at Citi Bank in between his first and second year of business school. As many relationships start these days, they both "swiped right." After exchanging a few messages, they spontaneously grabbed a cup of coffee. The end of summer quickly approached, but Rachel and Jake's relationship was just beginning. They decided to do long-distance in the final year of their graduate programs, making road trips back and forth to Cornell and Rutgers. Since graduating in May 2019, Rachel and Jake moved to New York, started their careers, and later moved in together. The rest, as they say, is history!
