Best Man
One awesome memory I have is the night Jake and I actually met Rachel. Rachel and her friends were walking over to an 80s themed party in 80s outfits. They asked us to join them but we weren’t in 80s attire. They told us “just turn your sweatshirts backwards, you’ll fit right in.” (Editors Note: I don’t know why we thought that was a good idea hahah!-R) We completely forgot about it until about a half an hour later and thought it was an opportunity missed. I am extremely glad Jake and Rachel were able to meet (more formally) again and I am beyond grateful for a lifetime of friendship with both of them.
Maid of Honor
Everyone knows that Jake and Rachel first met in college, but the story takes a funny turn when people find out that I knew Jake first. We were in the same speech class Freshman year – little did I know he would become such a huge part of our lives. It’s been so great to be apart of Rachel and Jake’s love story.

My favorite memories of Jake growing up involve many nights of neighborhood mischief. Jake was a wild one; always down to go and do something crazy. I remember him and I sneaking out and biking the 6 miles over to Jacks house just for the chance to go and TP some completely innocent neighbor. Nowadays, we may have grown up, but we still wont hesitate to hit the town and get into a little mischeif. Luckily for Jake, he now has Rachel to keep him in check! I cant wait to see the lovely couple tie the knot, and I know they will have many years of happiness together. Congratulations!

Since the first time I met Rachel, I’ve always been the triplet in the family. Then Jake came along and I became another third; the third wheel. My whole college career I spent a majority of my weekends in Oshkosh and was able to see Rachel and Jakes relationship bloom. I am incredibly happy for you two and can not wait to be a part of your big day. I’ve never met a more perfect match.

As everyone knows, Jake likes to talk. Since Jake and I shared a room when we were younger, he filled me in on everything he was thinking about and doing in his life which can be overwhelming at times, but it really gave a perspective into his life. After he went away to college, he always found time whenever he was home to tell me about his adventures at Oshkosh. Rachel’s name always seemed to come up in the conversations so when she started coming around the family more, it wasn’t much of a surprise. Rachel instantly fit in extremely well and became a part of the family very quickly. I knew from the beginning Jake found someone special. Congratulations to both of you, I can’t wait to be a part of your big day and the rest of your journey.

I’ve known Rachel since kindergarten, and I met Jake freshman year of college when Rach and I were dressed in 80s gear on our way to a different house party. It’s crazy to think about all that has happened since then, and I’m so happy that I’ve been able to be a part of their story and watch it grow. They are so perfect for each other and continue to be one of my favorite couples to be around. Jake is beyond great to Rachel aaaand I especially get along with him because our love for cheese. 🧀🧀🧀

“Little” bro, we’ve had a lot of good times snowmobiling, boating, camping, 4-wheeling, & vacationing throughout the years. Looking forward to making more great memories with you & Rachel. Congrats!!

It seems like every essential memory I have of college includes Jake and Rachel. There have been so many great nights, vacations, and events we’ve shared together. From Mexico to my cabin in Minocqua, prank calls and game nights - getting to witness Rachel and Jake grow and fall in love will always be special to me.

Growing up in the same neighborhood as Jake meant I always had a friend’s house I could zip over to on my scooter. We would play neighborhood basketball, jump on the trampoline, or hang out in the sweet tree house him and Colin were building. He always had drive. He knew what needed to be done and how to get it done right. Being around him, I too wanted to have those qualities. He brings out the best in people and I can tell Rachel does the same for him. Congratulations and I look forward to many years of card parties and multi-family vacations in the years to come

Rachel and I’s friendship has come a long way. It was a rocky beginning dating back to first grade at Powers Elementary when Rachel gave me a snakebite in class. I proceeded to cry and tattled to Mrs. From, ending with Rachel being sent to the principals office. Better days were ahead as we put our vicious past behind us and became best friends. From Barbies, talent shows, to starting our own band, and now being part of your and Jake‘s big day! Couldn’t be more happy for you both!

I have had so many incredible memories with Jake by my side, it’s hard to pinpoint a few of the best. From flipping over on a snowmobile in his backyard at the age of 5 to sneaking out during sleep overs, Jake and I have always found a way to have fun and cause a little trouble. I’m looking forward to being a part of Jake and Rachel’s special day and creating another unforgettable memory them.

The train of memories with Jake has made many stops...but all of them have created an abundance of adventures. From playing soccer on Mr. Harris's team, to making a short white boy think he could play basketball, and riding dirt bikes at my aunt and uncle's house. I am very excited to add another amazing conductor (Rachel) on this train. Here's to many more adventures!
