When Rachel was in high school at West Forsyth, she showed her friends a photo of Graham who was the quarterback at Mount Tabor and said "I'm going to marry this guy one day." Graham, having no idea who she was, went about his life and decided to go to college at UNC Wilmington. Coincidentally, Rachel went to the same school. The next summer, Graham was working in Wilmington and Rachel went home to Winston-Salem. They started chatting over social media, sharing common interests, and Graham invited Rachel down for the weekend at the beach.
