Ethan and Rachel met through a mutual friend during a high school band trip to New York City. They quickly became friends over their love for music, particularly Foster the People. Despite being several hours apart, they decided to give long-distance a go and started dating January 3rd, 2014. After graduation, Rachel moved to Boston so they could finally be in the same city. Now they live together with their two cats, Pippin and Seymour.

On a warm, sunny October day, Ethan and Rachel started the day with brunch at Brassica Kitchen + Cafe (it was delicious) in Jamaica Plain. They then walked over to the Arnold Arboretum where they made their way up to Peters Hill and Ethan popped the question!
