Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort, Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun. Guests that do not stay at our resort will have to pay a resort fee to have access to the resort for the Wedding Day. We want our wedding celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside the Wedding Day, whether it be at the pool or by sharing a few meals and drinks together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that you make your reservation through our travel coordinator, Valerie.

Question

When should we arrive?

Answer

You've traveled all this way--may as well make a vacation out of it! Brandon and I will be arriving on 2/7 and leaving 2/13. There is a 3-night minimum with the rooms we have reserved in the room block, but please feel free to stay as little or as long as you'd like. The Wedding Day is Saturday, 2/10, so we do recommend you arrive 1-2 days prior, if possible.

Question

What should we do about transportation?

Answer

Roundtrip transportation from the airport to the resort and back are included at no additional cost when you book through our Wedding Travel Agent, Valerie.

Question

What airport will we need to fly into?

Answer

When booking flights, please be sure to select Cancun International Airport (airport code: CUN).

Question

Do we need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Please ensure your passport is up to date, as you will need a valid and current passport to enter Mexico.

Question

Do I need to bring cash to the resort?

Answer

The Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun is totally all-inclusive. All food, drinks (including alcohol), and entertainment is included in the room rates. We do recommend bringing cash to tip the bartenders, servers, room attendants, etc.

Question

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

Beach cocktail/semi-formal. Please leave your ballgowns and tuxedos at home! We understand it’s a tropical climate and we want everyone to be comfortable. Think beachy dresses, sandals or wedges, chinos, button-up shirts...

For all the days along the way
