Let's call it "Miami Cocktail"? "Shrek Swamp Formal"? For the men: Wanna wear a guayabera? GO FOR IT! Otherwise: suit jackets in fun colors, tie optional, socks obviously optional. Gold chain necklace? You won't be the only man wearing one... For the ladies: Y'all we're in South Florida in April - it might get hot! Opt for light and airy fabrics such as chiffon or organza. A floral maxi dress, a midi or knee-length dress, as well as a jumpsuit, are all great options. Don't be afraid of color!

No! Everywhere you need to go will be paved, wear those baby pink fuzzy stilettos you've been dying for an opportunity to wear!

Can I just stay in a hotel on South Beach when I come?

Answer

Listen, South Beach is a scene like no other and somewhere everyone should see at least once - that said, the beach is on an island and parking & traffic over there are a nightmare, so we would recommend staying in a hotel OFF THE BEACH and on the south side of the city at least for the night of the ceremony (The hotels listed here on the Travel page are great options).
