Erie Canal

After our first lunch together, this was our first date (with Cocoa trotting along, too!). We've spent many, many hours on the canal walking Cocoa, talking, skateboarding (that's all Matt!), kayaking and SUP-ing, and just enjoying time together.

Rochester International Jazz Festival

One of the best events in Rochester! Get out and enjoy the fantastic music - plenty of ticketed and free events to choose from! 2023 festival runs from June 23 through July 1.

George Eastman Museum

A great place to explore Kodak film's history, and the history of photography!

Niagara Falls State Park

Mendon Ponds Park

LOTS of great hiking trails for all ability and levels. Enjoy the sunshine!

Lehigh Valley Trail

Again, another great hiking place! Enjoy :-)

Turning Point Park

Fantastic walk - maybe you'll see the family of swans! And if you go far enough (a few miles), you'll get to Lake Ontario Beach!

Taughannock Falls State Park

If you're up for a little drive, this is a beautiful hike that takes you through a gorge cut by icebergs millions of years ago. An added bonus - you can walk nearly to the bottom of another beautiful waterfall!

IndyKart Raceway

We've been finding go-kart racetracks together - we've learned the electric karts are much faster (and more fun!) than the others. Do you feel the need for speed? You can get your fix here. :-)
