Vermont Brewers Festival
This weekend also hosts the Vermont Brewers Festival, featuring over 50 local breweries at the Burlington Waterfront. Great brews and great views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks!
Stowe Village
Stowe, Vermont is home to a number of amazing restaurants and shops. Spend the day walking around the village or enjoy one of Stowe's many outdoor activities- hiking, walking/biking trails, ziplining, golfing or kayaking.
Shelburne Museum
An incredibly eclectic and expansive walking museum. 38 exhibition buildings, 25 of which were relocated to the museum; the 1871 Colchester Reef Light; three historic and three replica barns, including a 1901 Vermont round barn; a vintage operating carousel; blacksmith and wheelwright shops; a weaving shop with an operating Jacquard loom; a working exhibit of late 19th-century printing equipment; an 1840 one-room schoolhouse; an 1890 Vermont slate jail; an 1840 general store; a rare 18th-century up-and-down sawmill; a 19th-century covered bridge with two lanes and a footpath; the reconstructed office of noted Vermont physician D. C. Jarvis; an 1890 railroad station; a 1914 steam locomotive and 1890 private rail car; and the 1906 220-foot (67 m) steamboat Ticonderoga, which is a U.S. National Historic Landmark. Ben & Jerry’s
Take a tour of the famous Ben & Jerry's factory. Highlights include: free ice cream at the end.
Underhill State Park
Take a hike up Mt. Mansfield to get a good workout and beautiful views of Vermont. The summit is also the place where Ryan proposed to Rachel!
Shelburne Farms
Next door to Shelburne Museum, experience a working farm, restaurant and beautiful walking trails of Shelburne Farms.
Church Street Marketplace
Church Street Marketplace is our beautiful outdoor mall in the heart of Burlington. Walk down the pedestrian-only street and enjoy bars (The Archives, Zero Gravity Brewpub at American Flatbread or The Whiskey Room), restaurants (Leunig's, El Cortijo or Hong's Chinese Dumplings- a block off Church St. but well well worth it) or one of its many shops (Outdoor Gear Exchange, Catamount Store or Simon Pearce).
The Alchemist Stowe
For beer lovers, head to the home of Heady Topper and more at the Alchemist Brewery in Stowe. Keep your heads on a swivel, these beers pack a punch.
Waterfront Park
Rent bikes or take a stroll down to the Burlington Waterfront. Grab a crepe at the Skinny Pancake, a beer at Foam Brewers or hop on a cruise around Lake Champlain perhaps on the Whistling Man Schooner!
Prohibition Pig
Visit Rachel and Ryan's all time favorite spot to visit after a day on the slopes. They specialize in BBQ and brew their own beers which are equally as good! Restaurant (business) in the front, brewery (party) in the back
