A must do for any of our active guests looking to break a sweat! Callum reluctantly joins Quinn every time they visit Arizona, and has lived to tell the tale. Not only does Camelback stun with a gorgeous view, but it also serves as the backdrop of our wedding ceremony. There are two trails Cholla & Echo, the latter being more challenging - Callum will attest to this, see above photo. *Once you've earned your breakfast, we highly recommend heading over to La Grande Orange for a 'commuter breakfast sandwich'
American Version: If you're looking for a place to let your hair down - or grab a taco at 2AM, this is the place for you! You will likely find Quinn and Callum there on a Friday and/or Saturday night when they are in town. British Version: An upmarket Magaluf
Arizona is very well known for their amazing (and plentiful) golf courses. In fact, Scottsdale is known as 'The World's Finest Golf Destination'. Although Callum and Quinn prefer to drive the golf cart and enjoy the libations, below you can find a list of recommended golf courses. - TPC Scottsdale (PGA course!) - Grayhawk Golf Club - The Phoenician Golf Course - Troon North - Camelback Golf Club - Gainey Ranch ...and plenty more - happy googling!
One of Quinn's favorite places to get lost when in Arizona. If you are looking for some fantastic shopping and dining - head to Scottsdale Fashion Square!
Similar to Scottsdale Fashion Square, Kierland Commons is also well known for their shopping and dining. You could even do both in one day! To rest your feet and re-fuel for more shopping, we highly recommend swinging by Tommy Bahama during 'Island Time' for a half price Pina Colada and Ahi Tuna Tacos!
A bit further afield - but Arizona is The Grand Canyon state! And as Callum has pointed out, being the naturalist he is, the Grand Canyon is 'One of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World'. If you have a spare day before or after the wedding, we would highly recommend visiting The Grand Canyon. Our recommendation - wake up early and try to catch the sunrise!
Just shy of 2 hours drive from Scottsdale, Sedona is stunning! By far one of the most beautiful places in the US - If you have to choose one, it should be this one. Sedona is well known for their beautiful red rocks and landscape. Whether you are looking for a spa day, hiking, or a bit of adventure - it has it all. We would recommend a Pink Jeep Tour, which are truly one of a kind, a hike to Devils Bridge, or a Spa Day (and overnight!) at one of many local resorts (L'Auberge being our fav).
A gorgeous canyon that you have to see to believe! For all you Instagram fans out there, search for Antelope Canyon, and the photos will speak for themselves. You could also add this on to a trip to the Grand Canyon if you wish!
