We matched on Tinder in the year of our lord 2016. Our first date was a movie. Shocking I know. Quincy had passes to a movie advanced screening but it was too crowded so they snuck into a different one. A few dates later she was touching paintings in a museum and living her best life to its fullest! He showed her how to let go. She taught him that love didn’t have to hurt. They’ve been watching movies and playing board games together ever since and don’t plan on anything changing except our weight!
I planned a balcony dinner for Kristin the first night of the cruise so we could enjoy the entire cruise engaged. When we boarded and I secretly inquired about it I was informed it wasn’t possible for it to happen that night. It required more planning. So I went with it and postponed until the third evening of the cruise. We had spent the day having a great time in Canada and came back to the boat to this private dinner on the balcony. And she knew about the dinner. But not the engagement. So as we drank our first glass of champagne and she remarked on how beautiful the whole thing was, I pulled the ring out of my pocket and asked her to marry me. And I think you know the rest. Except for the rest of the meal which was AMAZING!! I highly recommend you spend the $ to do it on your next cruise. So special and delicious! The perfect night!
Are you really reading this?? It hasn’t happened yet, silly!! And you’re gonna be a part of it!! So check back later…
