When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by September 10, 2022 and can do so through this website.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those invited to the ceremony and reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should arrive between 3:30-3:45pm. This is to ensure that everyone arrives on time and to prevent any interruptions.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy a child-free evening. The only children in attendance are those included in the wedding party.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, guests are asked to wear semi-formal attire and ladies are asked to refrain from wearing white, beige, cream or ivory. The couple’s wedding colors are Navy blue, burgundy and gold should guests choose to match the wedding’s theme.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures for about an hour. All other guests can proceed to cocktail hour which will be conducted on the patio.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, there are numerous hotels located within 10 minutes of the wedding venue and have different prices ranges to respect everyone’s budget. The couple has also reserved a room block at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Easton, Maryland. Guests are encouraged to reserve their rooms in a timely manner to ensure availability and discount.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to close proximity to the venue, the couple has chosen not to include transportation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking located to the right side of the venue. For attendees with limited mobility or family elders, we ask that they be dropped off at the front of the building and use the ADA compliant ramp.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

The wedding couple requests a dry-wedding, this means that no alcohol will be served.

Can I take photos and/or post on your wedding on social media?

Answer

The couple asks that guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. This is to ensure that no one obstructs the photographer and videographer’s view. We also asks that no one post the couple until after the wedding. When posting on social media, please use our wedding hashtags #QuimbyToMcBride and #HereComesTheMcBride
