Love at First Sight
Fall semester 2001
Avionne and Quentin both attended The Alabama State University. They met at the ASU library where Avionne worked as a work study student. Quentin approached her to buy a book that she was selling knowing he didn't have that class. That was his way of getting her number. They went on their first date soon there after to Chili's, where he fed her steak off his plate. They fell in love that night.
The Proposal

Avionne was completing her photoshoot for her 40th birthday. Towards the end of the photo shoot, Quentin had talked to the photographer prior to the session and alerted her that he was going to propose.. This is how they were able to capture the moment! It was unexpected for Avionne because it was on Quentin's birthday.
