In true Wisconsin fashion, Katie and Zach first crossed paths at a local bar in 2017, where they sat and talked, but decided to just stay friends. However, as fate would have it, a year later their paths crossed again at that same bar! In true Katie fashion, she sat down and asked Zach to shake for shots. He agreed and from that moment on, they knew they couldn't go their separate ways again!

It was Christmas morning and Zach got up to let their puppy Jersey out. The girls woke up shortly after to see what Santa had brought and Zach filled them in on a little secret...he was PROPOSING! He sent the girls down to their room with the mission of bringing Katie up with her eyes closed. She told Katie that she had a Christmas present that was a surprise, then lead her up 2 floors. They then said "OPEN YOUR EYES" and low and behold, Zach was down on one knee in front of the Christmas tree and popped the question!
