We're Getting Married!

Around July 4th last year, Priscilla's older brother, Nehemiah, reached out to Eric by text message to ask him how life was going and whether he would be interested in meeting a girl he had in mind. Eric took a few days to think and pray before he told Nehemiah that he would be interested. It ended up being Nehemiah's own sister that he wanted Eric to meet. Eric received Priscilla's contact info and sent his first message to her to set up a time to meet. As the saying goes, the rest is history!

On the day after Christmas, Eric took Priscilla to check out Roger's Gardens in Corona del Mar after church. After strolling around the beautiful nursery and shop, they made their way to Crescent Bay Point Park in Laguna Beach. Eric found a nice spot and set a blanket down on the grass. He handed his "last Christmas gift" to Priscilla, which was a photo album documenting their relationship journey and on the back page, he wrote a personal note that ended with "..." After Priscilla finished looking through the album and reading the note, he asked her to turn around. He reached into his jacket pocket, pulled out the ring box, nervously looked around to see if anyone else was watching, and got down on one knee. He asked her to turn back around. He opened the ring box and asked, "Will you marry me?" She said, "Yes!" For the next few minutes, all she could say repeatedly was "Oh my goodness!" Afterwards, Eric took her to Marche Moderne to celebrate with a delicious French meal.

Priscilla graduated from the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University with her bachelor's and master's degrees in piano performance. She went on to complete a doctoral degree in piano performance at University of Minnesota. Besides her musical pursuits, she is a woman of many talents! She serves in the middle, high school, and college ministries and worship team at church. She also ran her first marathon last year! She is a faithful follower of the Lord. She is the most thoughtful girl, consistently seeking to serve others. She also has the sweetest smile! -Eric

Eric is the sweetest, gentlest, and most thoughtful man ever! He loves God and seeks to share the love God has given him with others in all that he does. Committed to living a life serving and caring for others, he completed his bachelor's degree at Rice University in pre-med and continued on to complete his medical studies at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He has a penchant for owls and loves to explore. A thoughtful man, he can often be found reading or taking long walks. He has lately been dusting off his old violin and practicing for musical collaborations with Priscilla (thanks Eric!). He is a generous man, a great listener, and a loving friend.
