We're getting Married!

We have known each other for a very long time. We were friends in high school long before we started dating. We went to the same college (Gig'em Aggies) but at different campuses. We started dating thirteen years ago; we worked at the same pool together in our hometown over the summer break. Kyle would take me on dates in between our shifts, and after hanging out at a mutual friend's party one night, I changed my Facebook status to "in a relationship" and tagged Kyle in it. He accepted, then at the end of the summer, we went back to our separate college campuses. We were long-distance for four years before we moved in together. We've been living together ever since.

I was graduating the school program I was in, and our families offered to throw a graduation party for me. Little did I know, Kyle was actually planning a surprise engagement party. He asked me to marry him surrounded by our family and loved ones.

Since we got engaged in April, it felt appropriate to get married in April. Texas is beautiful in the Spring, and we ain't trying to overheat our out-of-town family with a summer wedding. Weather permitting, you'll get to see the famous Texas bluebonnets!
