We have our "mutual friend" eHarmony to thank for our meeting! And actually, there's a funny story about the number that represented our compatibility. We'll have to share it with you someday!
We had dinner at Wanderhaus and then went back to my house and made a homemade peach cobbler. Little did I know that John was using that as a "test" to see how well we worked together. The amazingly yummy peach cobbler was proof that we did ok together!
I have to laugh at this question because it was me. I knew early on that I loved John, but was waiting until I knew he felt the same before saying it. I guess my heart couldn't hold it in any longer and one day it just slipped out. John looked at me and said, "What did you say?". I tried denying saying it but he knew what I said and heard it loud and clear.
We've been dating for over 2 years. We live in 2 different states, separated by 150 miles. We have kept the roads hot between Conway and Memphis, but those miles have been so very worth it!
We cook together, a lot! He's the chef and I'm the sous chef. I guess since we cooked on our first date that was a good indicator of something we would do regularly. I'll add that John cooking equals a dirty kitchen! He's messy y'all, but the end result is always worth the mess! Lol! On a side note, we made an agreement early on that if he cooked that I would clean and that is how it's been ever since.
