The dress code for the ceremony and reception will be semi-formal. We encourage you to be creative, but if you need some inspiration, think bright, playful, romantic. Semi-formal dress code is a balance between dressy casual and black-tie attire, and is more formal than everyday wear but less formal than black-tie. This could be anything from a knee length skirt, maxi dress, jumpsuit, suit, or blazer and dress pants. What's most important to us is that you feel great! Childcare will be available at the wedding reception from 8 pm to midnight. Must be requested in advance to ensure service has sufficient childcare workers present. Please contact ginnylpreuss@yahoo.com if you plan on using the babysitting service or with any questions.
We recommend having a rental car (or getting yourself in someone else's) for Friday and Sundays events, as well as any exploring you might want to do before the ceremony. As the birthplace of the American automobile, Southeast Michigan lacks for adequate pedestrian and public transport infrastructure. Someone should do something about that. Transportation will be provided from both hotels to the reception and ceremony.

The ceremony will start officially at 6 pm, but we invite everyone to arrive by 5:30 to get settled! The reception will go until midnight.
