A New, New Date!

Don't worry, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. We did set our original postponed date to August 21, 2021. However, Cave B is right next door to The Gorge Amphitheater, and they've had to change their schedule around as well. A very big, very loud music festival was also rescheduled for that same weekend in August, and we felt that it would be best to not compete with that decibel during our wedding weekend. So, we've moved the date again! We're sorry for all the date changes, but this is a crazy world we live in! We hope to see you in June. Love, Kelsey & Alex

Important Update

Dear family and friends, In light of the current health issues facing our country, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to June 5th of next year. We love all of you and wish to wait to celebrate with you at a time when we can safely do so. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you, as we know some of you have made travel plans to come see us. Please check in here for more details and any future updates. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out. Formal invitations will be sent out in the coming months. We hope to see you next year! With love, Kelsey & Alex

We're getting married!

Welcome to our wedding website! We’ve created this website as a helpful resource for all of the need-to-know details in the lead up to our big day. Here you’ll find our schedule of timings and venue details, along with our bridal party introductions and a little history of us. We’d love for you to take a look around to learn more about our wedding day plans. Don’t forget, you can RSVP here as well. And finally, thanks so much for all of your love and support so far! We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of our favorite people.

Falling In Love

Kelsey and Alex met the summer of 2015 on a baseball field. She charmed him with her lack of athletic ability and he impressed her by trying to teach her how to pitch. When he went back to school for his senior year at WSU, they weren't sure if they'd see each other again, but agreed to keep in touch. Not long after that, Kelsey's visits to Pullman became more and more frequent, and they both realized there was something special between them. Somewhere mixed in with the many miles of driving (sorry to our cars, Texas and the late Millie), a flight or two, thousands of texts and FaceTime calls, a few cross country and track meets, and so much late night sushi and pizza, they fell in love. Kelsey, at least, was sure of it at first. Alex took a little longer to figure that out.

Moving In!

Once Alex graduated, he moved to Bellevue and the long distance was finally over! After a year living with friends and splitting their time at each other’s apartments, the two found an apartment on Capitol Hill to share with Kelsey’s pet rabbit, Benny. There, they shared more late night pizza and sushi (and the more than occasional Dick’s Burgers run), watched every Star Wars movie at least once, and decorated their first Christmas tree together.

The Proposal

Last June, Alex and Kelsey planned their first big trip together—spending three weeks in Europe. On the third week of this adventure, they visited a tiny Bavarian town called Füssen. While visiting the nearby castles, Alex sent Kelsey on a mission to find pretzels while he snuck into a jewelry store to buy a ring. Later that night on their way to dinner, they found a waterfall on the river they were walking along. Alex convinced Kelsey to hop a fence to get a closer look (she wasn’t into breaking the rules in a foreign country). While she was distracted taking photos, he got down on one knee. She turned around to find him there, holding a ring, and he asked her to marry him. Kelsey didn’t think he was serious at first, because he told her he wasn’t going to ask while on the trip and severely caught her off guard (he’s good at that), but of course she said yes! They celebrated with champagne and dinner by the river with a view of the Austrian Alps, taking in what had just happened and excitedly talking about what would happen next.
