Liberty Station
Located in the beautiful Point Loma community of San Diego, Liberty Station is the location of our wedding venue. It is on the site of the former Naval Training Center San Diego and is now home to many stylish bars, restaurants and boutiques, as well as Liberty Public Market, filled with gourmet eateries and shops. You can enjoy small bites here during the break between the ceremony and cocktail hour, or take a stroll along the waterfront section of NTC Park.
Sunset Cliffs
Sunset Cliffs is one of the most iconic spots to relax and enjoy a beautiful San Diego sunrise or sunset. There are also surfing spots below the sheer cliffs that give the area its name. It is located on the western edge of Point Loma, about a 10 minute drive from our wedding venue. It is also just south of Ocean Beach, one of San Diego's many beach towns filled with restaurants, shops, and sunbathing spots. If you travel further south, you will reach Cabrillo National Monument, located at the southern tip of the Point Loma Peninsula.
Balboa Park
Balboa Park is a historic urban cultural park in San Diego. It contains many museums, gardens and theaters, and is home to the renowned San Diego Zoo. Popular spots within the park include the Japanese Friendship Garden, as well as the iconic Botanical Building, lily pond and lagoon. There are plenty of recreational facilities, gift shops and restaurants within the park as well. It is about an 8 minute drive from our wedding venue.
Downtown San Diego
San Diego's downtown is the city's cultural hub. It is home to the historic Gaslamp Quarter, which contains many bars, restaurants and nightlife. It is also home to Little Italy, a lively neighborhood with cozy patio cafés, international restaurants, craft brew stops, urban wineries, art galleries and boutique hotels. The downtown area is also approximately a 10 minute drive from our wedding venue.
