Question

Can I bring someone that's not included on my RSVP (e.g. +1's, kids, etc)?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to capacity restrictions, we please ask that you do not bring anyone that isn't included in the RSVP form. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

What's the dress code at the country club?

Answer

Whether in the clubhouse or on the course, the country club's dress codes apply. Obviously attire will change by event or activity. Only conventional and appropriate golf attire may be worn on club grounds, the golf course, and the practice facilities. Shorts are permitted for both men and women, but should rise no more than four inches above the knee. Apparel such as cargo shorts/pants, tennis shorts, athletic or jogging shorts, cutoff slacks, swimming attire, blue jeans, denim, halter tops, numeral jerseys, uncol­lared shirts (for men) and T-shirts are not allowed. Gentlemen’s shirts must be tucked in at all times and hats are to be worn bill forward while outside and all headwear must be removed upon entering the clubhouse. This policy also includes Junior Golfers.

What should I wear to the events?

Answer

Sangeet (Outdoor Event): This is an informal welcome event filled with music, performances, and dancing. Wear something fun, bright, and colorful. If you're wanting to wear an Indian outfit, this would be a good event for that. Wedding Ceremony (Indoor Event): Formal traditional Indian or Western wedding attire is recommended. Reception (Indoor/Outdoor Event): Formal Indian or Western is the recommended attire. For men, you can't go wrong with suits or tuxes and for women, gowns or dresses.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our meals will be 100% vegetarian. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions (i.e. nut allergy, gluten free, etc.) that we can try to help accommodate when you RSVP.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check out our Travel/Hotel page for our recommended hotels where we have hotel blocks. To get the group rate, you must book by the cutoff date listed.

What other staying options do you recommend?

Answer

Downtown Chicago hotels or Airbnb. If you choose this option, you can Uber, rent a car, or take the Metra from Downtown Chicago to Olympia Fields Country Club.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the venue?

Answer

We will have transportation options available to and from the suggested hotels to Olympia Fields for the evening events only.

I plan to stay somewhere else and drive to the venue. Where can I park for the events?

Answer

Parking is readily available at the facility.
