We are taking COVID-19 precautions VERY SERIOUSLY so what does Dr. Milap Bhatt advise?
Question

EXCITING UPDATE! Will I be able to attend virtually?

Answer

YES! We are happy to announce that there will be a way to attend virtually! We will send the link shortly!

Question

UPDATE - Will I be required to wear a mask?

Answer

Other than Pooja & Milap, and their nuclear family, all guests are required to wear a mask at all events, despite the new CDC rules, except for when drinking and eating. Please note that our vendors will try their absolute best to ensure masks are being worn correctly and at all times.

Question

UPDATED - How many guests are fully vaccinated?

Answer

Between 200-210 people are attending the wedding and almost all adults are fully vaccinated! There's only 2 unvaccinated adults and 19 children under 12 yrs old, to be exact!

Question

I'm concerned about eating indoors. What do I need to know?

Answer

Garba - takes place indoors and you will be able to sit wherever you feel comfortable eating, away from others - if you don't feel comfortable dancing or having henna done, you are not obligated to do so! Wedding - takes place outdoors in a tent and lunch will be indoors in the Atrium - For those staying at The Westin, if you feel more comfortable eating privately, please feel free to take your lunch to your room Reception - takes place indoors and dinner will be in the same hall - We have a system to limit the number of people at each buffet station - In regards to seating our friends, each table will not exceed more than 8 to a table. We are seating friends who already interact with and have a level of comfort with each other together, and avoiding seating strangers with each other - For those staying at The Westin, if you feel more comfortable eating privately, please feel free to take dinner to your room - If you do not feel comfortable dancing, you are not obligated to do so!

Question

If I lose or break my mask, will I be provided with a replacement?

Answer

Yes! The front desk at the Westin will have extra masks in the setting you need a replacement.

Question

If I have a special safety request, can I reach out to you?

Answer

Absolutely! We just ask that you reach out prior to May 1.

Question

I won't be fully vaccinated in time for the events, what do I need to know?

Answer

Of course, please be sure to wear a mask at all times except for when drinking and eating. Know that the majority of this wedding will be comprised of Milap and Pooja's family. Almost a 100% of the adult family members are already fully vaccinated, including the Bride and Groom! There will be small children and teenagers who will not yet be vaccinated.

Question

What safety measures have the venues taken?

Answer

Other than enforcing wearing a mask at all times, the Westin is taking SO MANY measures! The following infographics demonstrate a look inside each physical space in the hotel, which correspond to the guidelines and protocols that hotels must follow: https://bit.ly/2PIdNiq

Question

Do I need to bring proof of my vaccination to the events?
