We met in high school when Phil moved to Southwick from Agawam. We had gym class together and we were square dancing partners! (Fun, right?!) We worked together at Big E's Supermarket and would talk casually when we saw one another. After graduation Phil moved away and we went our separate ways, each of us getting married and having children. Enter the world of social media, specifically Facebook. We friended one another around 2009 and would "like" each other's comments or pictures but usually we didn't talk, until I commented on a post about Phil's divorce being final. That's where it all began... My marriage was coming to an end and Phil would give me advise based on what he had gone through. We bonded over a very difficult time in our lives and clicked. We would talk through private messages and reminisce about high school and the "old days". One night we were talking and Phil got brave and asked me to pick him up at the airport because he was flying in to town for an interview at Six Flags New England. I thought it was pretty strange he would ask me but I took a chance and said yes! That was January 17, 2010 and we've pretty much been inseparable since then. Phil confessed he had always had a crush on me but was never "brave" enough to tell me! We've been through so much together these past 7 plus years and we can't imagine life without one another so the logical next step is marriage!! Phil proposed on a Sunday afternoon while we were watching football. My Miami Dolphins were of course losing and I wasn't very happy. Phil popped open the box and I laughed and said, "you're doing this right now, like this?!" Of course I said yes and my whole mood changed to pure happiness! We have 5 awesome kids between us and they seemed pretty thrilled as well! I never thought I'd say this but we really are "Lucky in Love"
