We’re so excited to celebrate and share this momentous day with you all. This Labor Day will be unforgettable.

Ecstatic to have Nino Ignacio as our photographer, we had the amazing experience to do an engagement/ save the date photo session on a beautiful August day. Inviting out parents to join us, we all went to Motauk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York.

After a lot of research and visits we found or perfect venue luckily by Ashley’s cousin Jessica telling them about a venue she knew of. Loving the location but knowing it was too small to accommodate their guest list they were told about the larger sister venue and made an appointment. Bringing both sets of parents to share this amazing location, Chris said, “This is it!” the day we visited.

A surprise proposal at Metropolitan Museum in the Chinese Hall. Ashley thought she was there for her nephews birthday party, a trivia hunt. After running around the museum searching for answers the teams meet back in the Chinese Hall. Answering the last Harry Potter theme question for bonus points, Ashley was instructed to open the book to the chapter, “The Unbreakable Vow.” A ring was revealed and she looked down seeing Chris on one knee. Saying “Yes!” they were surprised by more family and friends hidden in the room. Even strangers cheered and applauded in celebration.

Official date as boyfriend and girlfriend. Chris and Ashley have known each other since they were in their High School years. Long distance didn’t stop these two from staying together. *It’s been 15+ years!
