We met on Tinder. Yes the dating app where you swipe right based off of the photos that you can see of one another. After talking for about a week and Kyle continuing to ask me out on dates that I had excuses not to go on, we went on our first date. June 2015 we cruised up to Estes for our first date which consisted of a gondola ride up to feed the squirrels peanuts, lunch at one of the restaurants, numerous attempts from Kyle to kiss me and me avoiding it LOL, walking around the cute shops and that is when Kyle gave me a kiss - a glass blown Hersey kiss from one of the shops. Then we proceeded back down the mountain and Kyle's favorite part is that I fell asleep in the truck on the way down. Then we got Dairy Delight ice cream cones, sat and looked at Loveland lake, then went to Centerra shopping center and I finally planted our real first kiss on Kyle then in the Macy's department store... real romantic I know! Then we went and watched Jurassic World at Metrolux. I remember him dropping me off at home that night thinking that I didn't want to spend another day without him. We have been inseparable ever since that day.
We had planned a photo shoot with our all star photographer like we normally did once a year. Kyle had given me the reigns to plan when the shoot would happen, but he was pretty particular on a place. Estes Park Colorado. Kyle and I spent the morning getting ready and driving up to Estes Park. We drove there and enjoyed great conversation on the way. When we got to the spot where we were going to take photos Taylor, our photographer, and her Boyfriend got out. She explained that he would be filming on her phone in order to get exclusive behind the scenes of her at work for her new website. I thought nothing of it. It was blowing freezing cold wind but we smiled and looked pretty for the shoot to the best we could! Taylor took some shots and then put us in a pose where I was standing in front of Kyle with my back turned to him, she told me not to turn around until she was ready because she would rotate and capture the shot from the other side. We proceeded to do this pose many times, making it so that I would have no clue what was to come. Kyle and I did and outfit change and then she put us in the pose again. This time while I faced the camera Kyle got down on one knee behind me with the most stunning ring, as she rotated around to capture my reaction, and as she told me to turn around, there was the man of my dreams down on one knee holding a stunning ring asking me to be his wife. I was in disbelief and shock as I balled my eyes out saying oh my gosh countless times as he said a few short words to me. I was so excited that I didn't even let him put the ring on my finger until after he stood up and gave me a hug. That was the day that started our forever!
