We're So excited to celebrate with you

If you were to ask Bailey or Chris the story of how they met, you would hear two different versions except one detail remains the same between them. Chris moved to Portland OR from Long Island NY in the summer of 2016. Bailey grew up in Salem and was finishing her Bachelor's at Portland State University. That summer Chris worked at a Kids camp and rode his bicycle every morning around 7 am along the Tom McCall waterfront park and across one of the 6 bridges to SE Portland. That same summer before her last year of undergrad Bailey worked as a residential ambassador for student housing and as a nanny in downtown Portland. Every morning at 7 am Bailey was at the Tom McCall waterfront park for a daily run. While these two didn't meet on one of these summer mornings, they certainly were on their way to crossing paths and sharing a love for the Portland waterfront. In November 2016, Bailey signed up for a consultation at a Crossfit gym that Chris had begun working at a few months prior. Hesitant, Bailey almost didn't go. Chris on the other hand had booked a one-way flight to Florida to visit family for thanksgiving and was considering moving back to the east coast. On this day Chris texted Bailey to confirm her appointment which she had already pushed back and rescheduled. She received the text and with encouragement from one of her best friends, she went. Bailey pulled up in front of a garage in an industrial part of town 20 minutes early to her consultation. She walked through the door and up the stairs and sitting on the ground across the floor was Chris. They locked eyes and nervously introduced themselves. By the end of the consultation, they had exchanged phone numbers and agreed to meet for "coffee" to discuss veganism and fitness. Bailey sat in her car and immediately called Hayleigh and said "You are never going to guess what happened..." Chris after meeting with his last consult called his best friend Greg and said "I just met the girl of my dreams..."
