This is a fantastic museum full of hands on exhibits, experiments, and activities for kids.

Looking to squeeze in a round of golf during your weekend away? Then you're in luck! The Pinehurst area is full of quality courses for golfers of all ability levels. Jim's favorite course though is Pine Needles - which is why he became a member there, and where we took some of our engagement photos too! If you plan to golf at Pine Needles during your stay, tell them you're a guest of member Jim Wright for a discount off of your round.
Looking to do a little sight-seeing and window shopping? Then the Village of Pinehurst is your place! A quaint downtown, the Village of Pinehurst offers many restaurants to grab a bite at and local shops to browse through.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! The Berry Patch is a farm stand selling locally grown produce and homemade ice cream. We recommend grabbing two scoops of your favorite flavors in one of their fresh baked waffle cones!
Looking to grab a taste of some North Carolina BBQ? Give Pattan's a try! They offer dine in and take out options.
Is a margarita calling your name after a long day of travel? Then La Cabana is your place!
Located in nearby Southern Pines, The Leadmine is a go-to restaurant of ours! When dining here we skip the entrees and go "tapas style" with their appetizers and bao buns. Not sure what a bao bun is? Then head on over and give them a try. You can thank us later!
If breakfast is your love language (like it is Becky's), then Mason's is a must while you're in town! Located in old Aberdeen, Mason's is a local restaurant serving modern twists on breakfast classics. Their "Southern Benny," mini doughnuts, and French toast are a few of our faves. (Along with a carafe of traditional or mango mimosas!)
