In the start of the new year of 2018 Kelly decided to take the plunge and give online dating a try. Many of her friends had tried it, some had luck, others didn't, but she thought hey why not give it a shot. So she signed up for......yes you guessed it eHarmony ( you know the one that has all the commercials on tv?? Yea that one lol). Not wanting to pay for it, she simply signed up and created a profile... however not too long after realizing paying for a subscription is better off she did. Not having much faith in the process she signed up for a 1 year subscription (it was a good deal!). Two weeks had gone by, and on January 14th this guy ended up messaging her. She checked out his profile, and saw he had four kids and thought oh my gosh.... would I be crazy to respond? Almost not giving him the time of day she figured eh, whats the harm..... They started to chat and their conversations started to evolve more and more. The conversation moved from there to facebook messages, than to texting, and than finally facetime. After a few months of talking, Mike made the bold move to say hey we should finally meet in person! Agreeing the two made this happen. In April of 2018 mike traveled to oregon where the two finally met in person! It was a wonderful fun filled week. And at the end of the week (thanks to daniel for making a comment) the two became “official” and were boyfriend/girlfriend The relationship continued to progress as each took turns visiting each other back and forth. The two slowly fell more in love and became more and more sure they were right for each other. Than on Jan. 22 2019 on Kellys latest trip out to Utah to visit Mike, he got down on one knee and popped the question! Of course she said yes (correction.... she said “SERIOUSLY”), and well now here we are!! Wedding time! WOOOO HOOOOO! 😁

At the start of 2018, it was suggested that I start trying to date & see what happens. I got on eharmoney, yet nothing seemed to fit or go past the intial Hi. 1 day, a week after I visited family & had some friends pray over me, I met Kelly. This was January 14th 2018. It was a wonderful day. We started talking slowly but soon it switched from eHarmoney (that is impossible to talk with someone on) to facebook (where we could talk & be notified within seconds). Nothing was off limits, we talked about everything. The first time we “hung out” was via FaceTime & we watched Thor Ragnorok on the wall of my room. Several awkward things were said but mostly we watched the movie. We had several more dates like this & soon we were to busy talking to actually watch the movies. As time progressed we decided that meeting would be a good idea & set a date for April 15. Thanks to Dan asking Kelly if I was her boyfriend, we began our relationship April 20, 2018. Kelly met my kids for the first time in July 2018 but we had daily FaceTime visits and daily texts from the first visit on. The more we talked & prayed, the more we knew that God was calling us together & setting each of us apart for each other. After a visit in October we started daily quiet times/prayer times because we want to set our relationship on Christ & knowing that our relationship will grow stronger if we focus on God first. On January 22, 2019 when Kelly visited me I asked her to marry me. The back story behind it is that the previous year Kelly had told me that Baby Shark always got stuck in her head. As a joke I got a baby shark, a daddy shark, & a grandpa shark shirt as a joke/for a photo shoot. The rest of my kids wanted their own shirts, so Kelly got the rest of the family shark shirts for Christmas that year. The only one missing was a mommy shark shirt; I got one for Kelly. I told Ollie to give the shirt to Kelly, & while he was distracting her I came out with the ring & asked her to marry me.
