Karl and Meghan first met in Middle School, at the 99 Restaurant after Honk! (the musical). Meghan was in the show, and Karl was on tech crew (is anyone surprised there?) For Meghan, it was love at first sight! For Karl... not so much. In fact, in their first conversation Karl told Meghan that love did not exist at their age. Fast forward to 2015, and Meghan was a freshman in high school. Karl was a junior and again, Meghan fell hard. She spent the next few months doing everything she could to get his attention. Finally, she came right out and asked Karl on a date. Karl thought Meghan was inviting him to hang out in a group setting so when they both showed up and it was just the two of them... it was a little weird. They went out for a few months and then things kind of sizzled out. Karl was going off to college, Meghan was getting busy with everything she could possibly be involved in, so they broke up but remained good friends. When Karl was attending Alfred State, they would talk occasionally. When Karl came back to town for a break, he took Meghan out to dinner for her birthday, and Meghan confessed her feelings for him. He told her he was kind of interested but wanted to take things slow... and the rest is history!
